A celebration of American music, famous works by Bernstein, Copland, Gershwin played on cello and piano in arrangements by the composers themselves. And the beautiful cello sonata by Barber.

David Gardos has played keyboard and conducted in numerous theatres across the USA. He has originated five Broadway musicals including Big Fish, Finding Neverland and the recent revival of Falsettos, and performed with Kristin Chenoweth at Carnegie Hall.  David also worked on the Broadway production of Hamilton.

Cellist Katy Bell has worked for Het Residentie Orkest in the Netherlands, Scottish Ballet Orchestra, Scottish Concert Orchestra, been a resident musician at the Lyth Arts Centre and given the Scottish Premiere of Cheryl Frances Hoad’s The Whole Earth Dances with members of the SCO.
